Medium frequency RF amplifier 40Watt

PM 40 it's an rf power amplifier designed for Medium frequencies.

PM 40 output power is 40 Watt with a 50 Ohm load. The circuit amplifies the original signal 26dB with 28V power supply. The circuit quiet current is 250mA.
On-board there are two five pole low pass filters. The first one's frequency is 1MHz and the second one's 1.8MHz. The filter's are switched with a relay.
The amplifier, consist of one amplifying stage with active component a MOS - FET. Specifically the amplifier uses the IRF540.
Input output resistance adjustment is achieved with wide band transformers.
